Can I avoid overwriting my code

There are several ways of extending/customising the code generated by CodeTrigger without directly editing the generated code., including creating partial classes, inheriting from interfaces etc. For details see the 'customising generated code' section in FAQ or Features list.
However, if you choose or need to directly manually edit the generated code, you can do so and then add that file to the 'escaped file list' thus preventing it from being overwritten next time you generate code including that schema object. The escaped file list functionality is only available for Pro license users, under the 'Advanced Options' tab.
